Laddie "Bud" Schwartz lifelong Antigo resident died Sunday March 25, 2007 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. He was 82. Born on August 28, 1924 to Laddie and Edna (McCann) Schwartz he married Elaine Bovee from whom he was later divorced.

He is a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1944 and was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Antigo for 25 years. Mr. Schwartz later drove truck for Wagner Oil for 10 years operated the Elks Club in Antigo for several years and retired as a machinist from Merit Gear in 1989.

Survivors include his sons Steve (Angela) Schwartz and Craig (Sue) Schwartz all of Antigo.
4 Grandchildren Tiffany (Bryan) Jarchow Antigo, Brett Schwartz of Antigo, Justin and Davin Schwartz students at UW Stevens Point. Three great grandchildren Hali, Chase, and Chandler Jarchow.

One sister Beverly Kaplanek of Antigo.
One brother Jerry (Beverly) Schwartz of Appleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Faye Schleinz.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2007 10:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Dickerson officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and again on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com.
